Itinerary
Day 1 : Marrakech to Dades Valley
- Pick up from your Marrakech hotel early in the morning
- Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass
- Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage kasbah
- Drive through Ouarzazate and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs
- Arrive in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight
Day 2 : Dades Valley to Merzouga
- Walk through Todra Gorges after breakfast
- Drive through Erfoud and Rissani toward the Sahara
- Ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset
- Enjoy a Moroccan dinner and music around the campfire
Day 3 : Free Day in Merzouga
- Watch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes
- Spend the day at your own pace in Merzouga
- Optional activities: quad biking, dune buggies, or visiting nomadic villages (own cost)
- Relax at your desert hotel and enjoy the peaceful surroundings
Day 4 : Merzouga to Fes
- Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes
- Have breakfast at the camp, then head back to Merzouga
- Drive through the Ziz Valley, past palm groves and Berber villages
- Stop in Midelt for lunch, then cross the Middle Atlas Mountains
- Pass through Ifrane cedar forests, where you may see Barbary macaque monkeys
- Arrive in Fes in the early evening, drop off at your hotel
